East Coast Apprenticeships (ECA) regards the health, safety and wellness of our people as an ethical and moral responsibility.

Do you need to notify ECA of an injury or incident to an apprentice or trainee?
Contact your Field Officer, OR, Head Office on 3881 3166 to report any injuries or dangerous incidents.

Did you know we have our own safety app?
We have designed a FREE safety app for our staff, apprentices and trainees to disperse safety news, events and information across our large network in Queensland. The app is free to download and is available on the App Store and Google Play.

Do you need more information?
Apprentices and Trainees are encouraged to talk to their Host Employers, Trainers and ECA Field Officers about health and safety in the workplace.

If you are new to the workplace, your first day can be daunting. It is advisable to get prepared the night before and remember that being an apprentice / trainee means you are learning the ways of a trade, so listen carefully and ask questions when something doesn’t make sense.

Host Employers are encouraged to discuss safety concerns relating to ECA apprentices or trainees with their Field Officer and source health and safety information from Worksafe QLD. Some specific links that may be useful include:
